We have a client that I adore. His family lives right off Lake Ponchatrain and he has three family members who have lost their entire homes and many many friends in that area. I have never seen a face sadder than his.

I fell in love with New Orleans and Louisiana when we were there recently. I had never been to LA, but there was something really lovely about New Orleans. The lushness of that area. The architecture of the city. I was looking forward to going back and spending more time there. Bringing Zoe and spending a few days there siteseeing.

I have been following the story all day today and my heart is really heavy.

God bless them. It's only going to get worse before it gets better.

OK, haven't commented in a few days, so wanted to take a minute to comment atleast once to all the posts that I haven't. Yeah, that right there was babbling.

My God, scab picking/eating, booger picking/flicking! JUST PAY THE GAS PRICES!!!!!! ew. ew. ew. How much is gas there right now? We're sitting at $2.60 a gallon, but I don't have to drive too far and I have a "fuel efficient POS".

Love the pic, too cute. I have so many pics that could get me fired/divorced (just kidding on the divorced thing, but seriously on the fired thing) floating around it's not even funny, yet I continue to make lude facial expressions/gang signs etc. Whatsa girl to do?!

I work for a cancer organization and participate yearly in our run/walk. Go D and E!

As a chronic bronchitis sufferer, I feel for you! I hope you feel oodles better sooner. Z-pack always does the trick for me.

Ugh, New Orleans is a sad, sad scene. Give support through the American Red Cross and prayers, those people really need it right now.
