that doesn't like that Black Eyed Pea song "My Humps?"
I don't even want to know what that's about.
Does this mean I really am old now that I am not getting the new songs?
Posted by debutaunt at January 25, 2006 10:56 PMNo you are not the only one. I hear some of the
songs and I think HUH. I can't understand
1/2 the words.
I am Shoshie and Lisabeths sister
Rachel
I probably should not fess up to that fact.
I pray for you every day.
Posted by: Rachel at January 25, 2006 11:26 PM"Lovely lady lumps"... well, that line doesn't leave too much mystery, but as for the rest of the "song", well, I'm getting old with ya, sister!
Posted by: eclectic at January 26, 2006 12:40 AMCannot. Stand. It.
I wont even call it a song. What ever happen to verses with lyrics that MEANT something...even if it was all swirly and cosmic?
BLEH.
*puts on headphones and cranks up The Cure*
Posted by: Lucky at January 26, 2006 01:22 AMI hate, hate, HATE that song. Every time I hear her sing aobut her "lovely lady lumps," I think, "Girl, get thee to a medical clinic...that ain't normal."
Have a good day...
Posted by: amanda at January 26, 2006 08:00 AMSee, I love My Humps, but I could not stand 50 Cent's "Candy Shop". I thought it was disgusting and awful. He thought we was being so witty and tricky, but hello, everyone knew what that song was about.
Posted by: Alison at January 26, 2006 09:50 AMThe 13 year old who loves the BEP - hates the song. Have decided the radio is playing it because they think the kids like it & they want to seem hip by annoying the ever loving crap out of parents.
Posted by: cursingmama at January 26, 2006 10:07 AMThat song makes me angry. It's so gross.
Posted by: Angie at January 26, 2006 10:14 AMI have to admit, the message of the song is a bit disturbing. More than a bit, really.
Posted by: Trish at January 26, 2006 11:49 AMit's the most annoying song ever
Posted by: Claudia at January 26, 2006 12:32 PMNope. I hate it too. It is the stupidest song on earth.
Posted by: Jessica at January 26, 2006 03:53 PMI don't know that I've even heard that song, but I'm pretty sure I won't be singing this one in the car to the kids...
No no no... you are NOT really old.
Posted by: CircusKelli at January 26, 2006 04:28 PMOh good.
This means you won't make that my ring tone when I call.
It reminds me of the South Park episode where all the kids look up to Paris Hilton and want to dress like skanks and go to the Stupid Spoiled Whore store. At the end of the show, they end up having a whore off (not for the faint of heart):

I absolutely DESPISE this song! Unfortunately it is on all the time so my 5 year old boy sings along with it. We are switching back to country music.
Posted by: Mel at January 27, 2006 09:27 AMCan't stand it! Ugh!
