She Came Bearing Gifts for my Re-birthday

This is my Doctor for Muffins. Everyone should have a specialist like that.

We will post the recipe soon.

And yes. That's Sis #1. Sis #2 is busy with kiddos and helping my Mom move me to my new casa_debu.

"Your doctor for muffins." Even I won't touch that line.

I've been thinking about you all day. xoxo

I think Sis #1 secretly would like to be a Super Hero.....she's got enough costumes now to be #1 Texans Fan Doctor of all Trades! If any one could make that outfit look like "movie star material", it's her! Way to go, Sis!

And all I can say is, "they must be soooommmme muffins!"

You have one of the best senses of humor i've ever seen. Think you could let me borrow some?

I hope your new case is more magnificant than the Ritz!

Deb, I'm praying for strength for you - mind, body, and spirit.

Next year, on your birthday, you are going to look back and say to those around "We kicked it in the teeth!"

Have a great day!

Well, this has got to work. We cannot lose someone with such an upbeat view of life. Happy days ahead, Deb. Big Ernie said.

What?? No WonderWoman bracelets?? Oh, right... we're saving those for YOU to wear -- I forgot!

Tell Sis #1 she rocks with that pose. She looks
like she could cure the world:)

Did ya save me a muffin?

Ahem did you get a crank caller today?

Post the recipe soon. What's up with that...Can't
you somehow just get Martha Stewart to send out
a batch to all of us?

You the Queen of the Universe and Queen of Delft
surely you can make that happen.

Gosh, what is IN those muffins?? LOL Too funny!

Posted by: Erin at February 27, 2006 07:21 PM

Great picture. Hahaha. You made me laugh while I am waiting for my naked monkey floor show. This is my joy for the day. Get ready, because the cheering is about to start!

You can never have enough disco. Paging Gloria Gaynor:

I will survive
as long as i know how to love
I know I will stay alive
I've got all my life to live
I've got all my love to give
and I'll survive
I will survive

Or then there is this lovely BeeGees song, but with the lyrics completely mangled by mom (who also thought it was black women singing)

Oh, girl I’ve known you very well
I’ve seen you growing everyday
I never really looked before
But now you take my breath away.

Suddenly you’re in my life
Part of everything I do
You got me working day and night
Just trying to keep a hold on you.

Here in your arms I found my paradise
My only chance for happiness
And if I lose you now I think I would die.

Oh say you’ll always be my baby
We can make it shine, we can take forever
Just a minute at a time.

Bald headed woman, bald headed woman to me
Bald headed woman, bald headed woman to me
Bald headed woman, oh, oh, oh.

Why are they singing about bald headed women????* Bwah ha ha.

You cannot have enough disco. You might not want to listen to it in the car, but if it is your birthday, there is nothing more fun to dance to.

BTW, I think I make a smashing looking doctor type person except for I don't like that blood and memorization stuff.

*If you aren't getting this because you don't hear the music in your head, the BeeGees song in question is "More Than a Woman."

I had something to say, but I totally lost it - at a public computer at the campus, no less - when I read "Bald Headed Woman." (I really need to meet Sis #1 someday. She is the only one of the Debu clan I've never met.)

Oh! Yeah! If your Mom & Sis #2 need help with the moving, tell them to call me. I would be happy to pitch in. Or if they need help with anything else. I am here. :D
