Ok. I nearly watched it. *shudders*
101 Things That Have Been Removed From Bodies. on The Learning Channel.
Today is Day 100. 100 days from my transplant day. This is kind of a milestone. I still will be going in to the clinic, but this is kind of a big deal.
I also got my second clean biopsy back this week. Woo Hoo. I know my doctor keeps saying he expects no relapse, but it's always good to hear it out loud. The numbers.
Ok. I'm watching Windfall (kinda sucky). So I'm going to check out now.
I can do this. I have a three day weekend coming up (get to do my IV stuff at home and not at the hospital).
Your assignment for today is to call someone you haven't talked to in a while. I've been hanging out with my mom a lot lately and it's been cool just to sit and talk. So call a relative or a friend. Just to chat.
damnit! you mean i missed 101 Things That Have Been Removed From Bodies? I was seriously looking forward to that one. Don't think I'm joking.
Day 100 - that's amazing, Deb. Every time I hear that you've gotten a clean report, reached a milestone, overcame a setback, i breathe a sigh of relief & dance a little jig.
Posted by: beautifulmess at June 8, 2006 10:18 PMTV sucks the big one right now--everything's reruns, and even our TiVo is nearly empty.
Day 100--you made it! Woohoo! Here's to the next 100, and the hundred after that! And so on, and so on . . .

Thanks for the reminder!
Hugs to you!

Posted by: moxiemomma at June 9, 2006 06:45 PMOk, I would have loved to see the "101 Things." You wouldn't want to know what kind of things my patients put in their bodies. Accidentally or otherwise.
Once I had a patient who called, very sheepishly, and asked if we could call ahead to the ER so he would get right in. We never do that, but still asked, "Why?" Totally embarrassed, he said that he and his wife had been having marital moments, shall we say, and they lost part of a vibrator tip in his rectum and so he wanted us to call the ER because the toy was still running and he didn't want to get looks in the waiting room from people wondering why he was buzzing.
Now aren't you sorry you brought that topic up? :)
Posted by: Sheryle at June 9, 2006 11:50 PMKind of a big deal???? This is a HUGE deal Deb!!! HAPPY 100 days!!! You have come so far and I pray everyday that its just sunshine and excellent health from now on.
I hear ya on the TV thing. I TIVO reruns of Love Connection during the day and then watch them at night when I'm home from work. I LOVE to see the 80's and early 90's hairdoes and clothes since that was MY era of dating.
Hugs and only good vibes.
Congrats!!! That is such good news.
Posted by: Von Krankipantzen at June 10, 2006 10:38 PMCongratulations on the milestone, Deb!

Now, was that "100 things that have been removed form the human Body" part 1 or Part 2? that's kind of what worries me........
