Go Patty Go!!!

One of my brother's co-workers is going to be running the Adidas Dublin (Ireland) marathon for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Team In Training.

She is doing this in my honor. When I found out I was beyond touched.

She's trying to raise $5800. I'd love it if she could meet her goal.

My goal is to raise $5,800. Over 75% of your tax-deductible contribution is used for research, patient services and education. Please make as generous a donation as you can to support my participation in Team In Training and help advance the Society's mission.

Here is a link to her site. Even a few dollars start to add up. I appreciate any donations you can give. If you can't donate, please spread the word!!!!

Thanks!

P.S. Claudia also does TNT triathalons and marathons. Please donate to these amazing women!

I hope you meet and or beat the expected amount.

Hi Deb,
$800 collected so far, how cool is that. I know you and your team are going to meet the goal.
lets keep the "doe" rolling in for a great cause, every penny counts. Your team needs to help find cure for all of the Leukemia's and Lymphoma's
Peace

Hi Deb~
I came across another fighter, but she seems to be giving up. Maybe you can head on over there and give her some encouragement?

I hope that link works. If not go to Carepages.com and her name is Stephanie Mullennix.

Thanks Deb! I love your strength ... you are such an inspiration!

That is awesome. I love when the world is small and you see names of people you recognize. I have seen her name in the paperwork.

Now you have to get all healthy and buff so that you can do a tri with TNT.

Aloha Deb,

I donated and it didn't hurt a bit.

Common folks for the price of a couple of pizza and a six pack of soda you too can make a donation. Or in my case for the price of a pizza and a soda in Hawaii. Anyway it's a good ting to do.

Deb--

Here's a list of cool and rather inexpensive things to do in San Antonio:
1.) The McNay Art Museum--good for picnics too
2.) the Ghost Tracks (do it w Zoe--it's cool!)
3.) Read a book by the Riverwalk
4.) Witte Museum
5.) San Antonio Art Museum
6.) Jeff's puffy taco place--totally evil, but worth it on occasion
7.) Botanical Gardens
8.) McAlister Park for a bar-b-que
9.) S.A. Kids Museum
10.) The Flying Saucer (for beers and Spurs games)
11.) There are also some cool places to hang out just south of downtown, but I can't remember the names. Coffee bars and restaurants.
12.) I'll think of more.

I'm glad this is working out. Anyone in Austin want to go to Patty's fundraiser at an "authentic" East Austin cantina, please email me. Go Deb. Hope to see you more often in San Antonio!
