Zoe drew this in church Sunday. I asked her what it was and she said it was a picture of her eating salad.

That is absolutely adorable! I'm glad Zoe told you what the picture was. Jonathan draws me pictures all the time and then he asks me"Mommy, what do YOU think I drew this time?"

She puts a lot of detail in there for her age! Glad to hear that you aren't too worn out following your walk. Take care and give Zoe and Elvis a big hug for me.

Posted by: M_D at October 23, 2006 11:06 PMThat totally looks like one of those Edward Gorey-ish drawings to me - Love it!!!
Posted by: M-J at October 26, 2006 10:57 AMJust an occasional dropper-inner catching up on old entries... but had to comment. That is an amazing piece of artwork for a six year old. Confident strokes, a touch of perspective, great sketching style, detail (like the corners on the eyes) - way ahead of the curve in motor control and I would say, dusting off the old memories from the psychology degree, probably way ahead of the curve in her developmental stage.
If she wants a paintbox, get her one!
