I Can Do This

If I can stop having the trots... yay! (sorry, TMI)

I am sick. Just the chills, no fever, and I have bad dia-of-the-rear. I think some stomach flu thingy that has been going around. I'm just trying not to get dehydrated. But I have really bad stomach cramps and I'm trying hard not to barf. I'm also very hungry. Weird.

I'm very bummed too because I was very stud-like about going to my gym. I forgot how much I love working out and my PTM (Robert, my trainer) is great. He's tough but patient. I even got a shirt for my workouts:

I wore it yesterday and I felt like a warrior or something. I was like... yeah, yeah, yeah... you little people and uber aerobicized women are here to work out and look pretty. I'm here because I survived. Because I faced it and kicked its sorry ass.

I can do this. I just need to stop feeling invincible.

My OBGYN, Dr. Cox's office, (yes, you can laugh at his name) called me today. I had a pap smear (I always think of bagel with schmere) back in October. They do it and then give you this number and code to call, but tell you if something is wrong they will call asap.

Guess January is asap, huh?

The girl called this morning. Apparently I have some abnormal cells on my schmere. I'm trying not to panic, but after all the poison they put in me and the radiation, I'm silently freaking out. Like bad.

Asap. Thanks ginourmous a-holes.

I am not ready to deal with this.

I love love love the shirt. And no worries on the pap. I had an abnormal one too. And all was fine with the redo.

DO NOT PANIC.
Take a deep breath and rock on with your
awesome shirt. They are so stupid they probably have your test mixed up with someone elses.

Sorry you are not feeling well.

The schmear could be a lot of different (non-cancerous) things. But did you check with your PCP about the trots? Imbalanced electrolytes are bad, man.

Deb,I had an abbynormal pap and my dr had me repeat the test 3 months later and all was clear. Sometimes the paps get miss read, (supposedly a fairly common occurance). Do give your Dr a call and ask about being rested.

Keeping you in my prayers

Deb - while I haven't had that happen I cannot COUNT how many friends/family that have had that experience only to find out all was well. Hopefully you can get this resolved, as well as the trots and move on to a GREAT 2007 - THE year of the Deb.

Hugs

P.S. I love reading about Elvis - he sounds awesome and you deserve someone awesome to love you!

Deb, they probably got some of your bro's stem cells in the slide and went "Whoa!"... I also had some abnormal results that only showed up once and which didn't show up again in the tests 3 months later. Ditto for the next annual test. Try not to worry your pretty lil' head over this - it could be nothing and Lord knows, you deserve some 'it's nothing'! Hope you start feeling much better muy soon!

I know LOTS of people who've had that happen with their "schmere" honey. I'm sure it's terrifying to think of what it "could be". Just breathe... and make sure they do a re-test. You are doing this!
