In Houston. Chillin and hanging with the siblings. Feeling ok, but waiting on MDA to call me back. I'm having some issues with vertigo. No es bueno. It's like sitting up and *poof,* you're drunk!
Gotta run, but wanted to say hi!
Go visit Jake today. He's amazing. Say hi. Send him stuff. Tell 'em Deb sent ya!
I can do this. I may be dizzy, but I smell nice.
Your assignment today is to send some special prayers/vibes to Sis #2 who is going to Guatamala on a mission with the church, and to my friend Collins and Day (hope they fix you soon!), and to Snit, who got in an automobile accident - sore, but alive. I love you. Especially you, Claire :)

Posted by: Allison at July 5, 2007 01:55 PMI'm praying, Deb. There are so many who need encouragement and many who just need a miracle that it twists in my heart and weighs on my spirit sometimes. Cody just spent over a week in the hospital for a virus (and to recover from the first hospital od'ing him on Benadryl) and we met a couple other families who are now in my prayers.
One family has a set of infant twins who each have ALL and they are expecting another set of twins in December. I pray for incredible success and more joy than they ever imagined with all their babies.
Another family has an 11-yr old boy who they just found out has a glial cell brain tumor. It's inoperable and the chemo & radiation option is harsh, frightening and only offers a projection of about a year if nothing goes poorly. The parents don't read or write English and here they are in the midst of ultimate chaos and calamity, trying to grasp what's before them and understand what they're being asked to consent to. The mother & father are both genuinely sweet and endearing people who are crushed. They also are worried for their other children - two sons, one older & married and one about 14, and a little pipsqueak of a girl of 4 or so with Down's Syndrome.
God has been hearing a lot from me lately.
Posted by: Bren/Cody'sMom at July 5, 2007 03:18 PMI sure hope the folks at MD have called you by now.
Dizzy is not good, and I can't imagine how ick that would be for you or anyone.
I bet you are a great "sitter for the kids".
You must be a laugh a minute.
