Merry Elfmas

Zoe and I are watching Scrooged. I'm trying to introduce her to movies that aren't new Disney crap or High School Musical. So we've watched Home Alone, Beatlejuice, and Pee Wee's Big Adventure. I forgot how awesome those movies were. I also want her to see The Christmas Story.

What were some of yours??

Ok. Back to the movie. Here's my little elf. Dressed for outside.

(this cold is still kickin' my butt!)

The Christmas Story is always a good one. I love "The Sound of Music" too. Of course, the Dr. Seuss Christmas specials are the best (with Boris Karloff as the narrator). Take care of that cold Deb...you kick ITS butt.

I already despise High School Musical after our new elementary school principal changed the school's motto from "Put Your Best Foot Forward" to "Pop, Pop, Pop to the Top!" Blech.

We like the Santa Clause movies. Cody likes Nightmare Before Christmas.

I am SO cold...lol! Even with my internal inferno going (off & on), I get this lingering chill and can't shake it. Of course if the dadgum temperature wouldn't dip to the teens in the evening and FREEZE me clear to kingdom come, it'd help!

I hope you two stay cozy warm and you get well!

The Goonies!
Grease
Labyrinth
The Muppet Movie
Mary Poppins
The Wizard of Oz
The Black Stallion
Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (the original of course)

As far as newer stuff, I am a huge fan of Elf and anything made by Pixar.

Mmm-haven't watched many Christmas movies. But the one I have seen and think is great is "White Christmas" with Bing--

Feel better soon--you have the cutest elf :)

I looooove White Christmas, with Bing Crosby, also the cartoon Grinch with Boris Karloff narrating. I was never a big fan of The Christmas Story but I like Elf and It's a Wonderful Life and The Sound of Music (not really a Christmas movie, but they always show it on Christmas eve here...)

Ok I may be a little out there but, I like
National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation(1989) and Gremlins(1984) and to be nice, Miracle on 34th Street(1947)
