Watching this 10 year old makes me feel like a total slacker mom. Starts off a little slow, but this girl jams out.

Apparently in Japan a piano recital is typically classical music. Not only did she go against the grain with the choice of song but also with the boa and the cap. The polite applause at the end is also standard Japanese decorum. I guarantee you that if she does that at a recital in pretty much anytown, U.S.A. the room would go into spontaneous critical mass by the end.
Her next performance is supposed to be YYZ from Rush's "Moving Pictures." Another great choice. Can't wait to see that one!!
